Another season, another new manager, another year of underachieving. I saw the headline "Hammers sign Pellegrini", I just hope we don't play him up front!!!
As someone on the radio pointed out this morning, he will now become the next manager to be fired by West Ham
Better than what them GOONER’s av... Emery... first name Dick.. ( older generation will only appreciate) x
I't never going to be everyone's cup of tea but, if there was not even a semi, I would advise you to have a check that Mr Todger is still working - just to be sure. Maybe take 10 minutes today and look at things you can point at.......
Not sure what the Gooners are going to do now the Vulcan has gone. He spent 21 years at Arsenal and never saw a foul by one of his own players...........
'Fraid your bike pic. is like the opposite to Viagra. Could be useful though, might have a quick glance at it as I'm aproaching the vinegar strokes next time so that I can last longer. - (Normally I use Ann Widdecombe for this but even she is having a diminishing effect these days).
The way he won it makes me wonder. He smashed it on the penultimate day in the hills destroying everyone. I wonder if he stayed in touch til the final hour as he didn’t want the attention associated with the pink jersey. Just my thoughts.... I’d say the cycling world is getting bored of team Sky. But I like it
Its about time a green tax was introduced for cyclists The traffic they hold up on narrow country roads means cars are having to travel slowly and less efficiently in lower gears then accelerate when / if possible to get around the cyclists safely when the opportunity arises, in places cars have to travel for several miles in huge tail backs because there is nowhere safe to pass This tax could be then ring fenced to finance proper cycle lanes / widening of the roads and make everything safer for everybody Note this policy could also be extended to agricultural vehicles who appear exempt from any policing on the roads
I doubt that’ll happen anytime soon. There have been government driven pushes to get the nation on bikes running for years. Coupled with British successes on the cycling world stage, it seems to be working. Doesn’t seem to be impressing many of our fat grumpy motorists though
Who often are trying to get to work, nobody can say cyclists side by side chatting about the weather and laughing away without a care in the world doing 6mph with a long line of cars lorries a bus etc behind that cannot safely pass due to oncoming traffic is right...selfish
