  2. I dont like Lorenzo, he's arrogant and fast and a real threat once he finds the zone.
All the reasons I hope he won't and shouldn't retire

  3. FFS, some people seem to want to fill the grid with their poster boys, why would any racing fan want Lorenzo gone? Just let Rossi and Dovi race each other next year and ban everyone else, eh. Change the rules so that they have to overtake on each corner and at least 17 times per lap to make it exciting, but Rossi must win every race by a tyre's width.

Some folk are so fickle. Until last year, nobody was talking about Dovi, and he's been in MotpGP forever, now people can't see past the end of their noses. Last pre season, a lot on here were saying Vinales had the championship sewn up before a wheel had turned, and he'd previously only won one race. How'd that work out?

    MotoGP starts today

It would be a shame for the sport if Lorenzo left. He's a 3 times MotoGP champion and one of the best out there.

Thankfully, I can't see him going, he is at the peak of his career, age wise. He has unfinished business, whether that be winning on the Ducati or turning the Suzuki into a race winner, I think he still has motivation.

    End of rant. :innocent:

  6. Be a loss if he retires.

  7. i can't stand lorenzo, but don't want to see him gone

  8. Just add JLo to the list of riders that cannot ride a Ducati.

I’d like to see Miller on that factory bike.

Hey, you never know... stick Bradders on one and he may just gel and be super fast. Although it looks like he’ll be in the dole queue next season :joy:

  9. That’s two who have said that, and I’m in the dole queue now :p lol

Miller would be a mistake. IMO.

  10. Because a whiney git who's never actually demonstrated any of the talent he keeps telling everyone he has.
Every bike he's ever been on has always been the problem. 'If I was on the factory bike I'd be up there fighting for the title.' What a load of shite. He's ridden pretty much every bike on the grid now. He was mediocre on all of them. His agent must be exceptional at his job... how he gets such good rides is beyond me.

He has the odd good lap or race stint in him but his ridiculous crash rate suggests he's riding way past his limits to achieve that speed. This would all be fine if he didn't keep blabbing on about being as good as Rossi/Marc/Pedrosa/Dovi. He clearly just isn't, even Miller and Petrux are both out performing him. He is the Tim Henman of MotoGP but with the ego of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As for Lorenzo, I'd actually be sad to see him go. He's fast on the right bike.
Suzuki would do well to tempt him. Depends if his own ego can take not riding for one of the big three teams.

  11. Suzuki don't need Lorenzo for the.following reasons
    He can't develop a bike
He doesn't or cant race in the rain
If it comes to close racing normally he bottles it
His ego won't let him go to Suzuki

  12. Take it you don't rate him then, would like to hear your thoughts on Bradley Smith and Scott Redding .

  13. Don’t care what happens to him. Man had done nothing for me.

  14. I like watching him ride tbh, but he isn't a character I can warm to. That said, he is a multiple world champion and I don't believe they will get rid of him unless he genuinely is that arrogant that he won't accept a performance related contract. Suzuki option seems to have gone quiet and the only remaining option could be to replace Dani at Honda as he is spanish so would work with Repsol, however I don't think the bike would work for him at all.

  15. I would hope JLo doesn’t retire just yet.

I would also hope he stops going for soft/soft.

  18. Wow, 4 out of 4 incorrect. Well done.

  19. Regardless how shit he’s done at Ducati which isn’t entirely his fault.

He is probably one of the best riders on the grid.
