Hi all. I was looking for a set of 916 cases to start the build of my S4. I then realised I could also use 996 cases. Now I see a 998 monster. Is there any frame differences on this shape monster? Im planning on building the engine up from cases. I know this will probably be more expensive but I dont really want to pay £1000 for an engine that I know nothing about. It is pretty though..
I had an S4Rs engine in my garage for three years that i couldn't shift, let it go for £500 about 6 months ago. I couldn't use it as it had a single sided swinger and i wanted to put it into my 749. Would of suited you perfectly, shame.
It does sound like it would have been perfect! I think it's time to get the shed cleaned meticulously in preparation for an engine build. Having never worked on a 2 cylinder engine it will be a learning experience I'm sure.
