1198 Fork Seals 1198

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by fasteddy, May 31, 2018.

  1. 1 of my fork legs has a small amount of oil on it from the seal. Not had the bike long but it's under warranty so all is well.
Phoned my usual bike shop which i use and they quoted around £150 All in which I thought is not to bad?
Then I phoned my local Ducati shop and they said £120 All in? I didn't expect that price from a Ducati shop, anyway bike is booked in on Saturday with the dealer, Happy days and it doesn't cost me a penny as the shop I purchased it from is paying for it.

  5. Try a Sealmate first. Cured the leak on my 1198S.

  8. Sorry for posting in the wrong place but it was more a post regarding prices in shops compared to main dealers rather than model of bike
