arrived in Eureka California went to the Farmers Market, and there was a bloke selling wood powered saunas in an old wagon......
I only went into London with the intention of picking up a tea tray from a friend with the intention of reversing the tail tidy that had been imposed on Secundus (my new 696) by its previous owner, not being impressed by the filthy mess over the seat cowl and wet hair that resulted from riding a tail tidied Monster in the rain ... Somehow I ended up being introduced to the Bermondsey beer mile, and realising that my (always very limited, being a lightweight short-arse female) capacity for alcohol was even lower than I remembered ... MrsC's top tip - don't walk past all the interesting street food stalls on the way to your first Bermondsey beer mile brewery, just because it is only 11 am and you're not hungry ... am wishing I'd filled up on pho/falafel/pulled pork/artisan cheese/tapas in S E London before hitting the Four Pure brewery tap. Needless to say the planned afternoon in the garage untidying Secundus's tail hasn't happened.
Sorted out the back of my garage. Car load to the tip. Eased the living room door now we have a thick pile carpet. Cleaned multi. Cleaned bug. Cleaned and polished vulva. 2 showers. 3 shits (curry last night). 2nd beer while I burn the burgers and wear in a new pair of Loake brogues ready to wear for a wedding tomorrow.
Had a lovely day with #2 son, d-i-l and grandchildren today. Daughter in law is a great cook and made a beautiful lunch. After lunch we took the kids out on their bikes in the park to wear them out. Didn’t work Now back home and I’m trying to decide where to go on my tod tomorrow as @bettes is working tomorrow. I could be boring and bimble over to Squires for a coffee. I could head down to Matlock. Or I could go to the Italian car and bike festival at Newby Hall, near Ripon. And which bike do I use? Panigale or Scrambler? Decisions, decisions.
