  1. That's nothing, I have one of his bikes (obviously previous bikes, I haven't stolen it). I'm hoping if he's winning again people will start to like him and the value will go up!

This one ?......The rain cover should have been the hint as to his future riding skills :D

  3. Agreed. One good race = good lad thats what you are paid for. Win a some more and regularly make the podium, Ducati will name a bike after you! The fat lady probably isn't even in the building yet.

  5. I'm not sure what any of that means? Lost in translation maybe?

  6. Jlo ride of old. Certainly not ready to retire... And I don’t care what the haters say: Rossi May have list that edge he had when younger, but to be consistently top 3, race after race, and bang in hard overtakes still at his age is incredible.

Stoner interview was insightful: essentially he expected more podiums last year and the win to have been a lot sooner given the bike. He wasn’t very congratulatory...

  8. He has one record with Ducati now........he's won a race for them, which Rossi couldn't manage in 2 years. :innocent:

And also now has more podiums.

  9. But wasn't Rossi six and seventh overall in the two championships for Ducati :thinkingface:what position did Mr Whippy end up last year and this year we just don't know.............

  10. Look, Lorenzo ran a fantastic race. He did really well. I still think it was a bit dull, which took the edge off it for me. However the result is fantastic. If only Petruci had been on the 3rd step.

    There are many questions though.
Why didn't he have the tank and other bits before.
Why does he seem to get so ruffled when overtaken by the first person, then many more?
Would he now be any good in a scrap?

It is a fast track though, which suits the Ducati.
    He outdid Dovi.
He made Petruci look like he was in a different league.
What took either side so long to get to this point?

Why could I not log onto William Hill to place my bet on him winning at 12-1? I would have picked up £120. Shit!

  11. Completely different bike. Not a Rossi fan, but that bike was pre Gigi and no one won on it.

  12. You may as well be comparing Doohans Honda with Crutchlows.

  13. I think the fact that you are referring to Lorenzo as Mr Whippy, would mean that any reply of mine or attempt to enter a reasoned debate would be injudicious on my behalf.

  14. I'm not comparing anything. I simply stated that Lorenzo has won on a Ducati, Rossi has not.

Show me wherre I said Lorenzo won on the same bike as Rossi please.

  15. Dovi looked seriously cheesed off in the post race interview .... Barcelona will be interesting.

MMs move on Petrucci wasn't that bad but fate dealt him a card that's been coming for some time.

As long as the Championship is still alive by the time I roll into Misano to check out Rossi's beard/bird in the flesh I'll be velly appy.

  16. Pirro looked like he was out of it for most of his crash. He was very lucky to get away with that.
Ive never liked jlo's attitude, (apart from when he first came to the premier class) but he has been brought down a peg riding the Ducati, his interviews were quite humbling, and he did a sterling job today. Go girl. :upyeah:

  18. Good job by jorge, writing him off as some have in the other thread is a little naive and premature.

Rossi did ok, kept the pace reasonably well and let's be honest he's 40 so standing 2nd in the championship is still a result.

As for his new Mrs....great rack :upyeah:
