1200 Enduro Is This Gap Correct?

  1. I don't remember seeing this gap before. I have just washed, cleaned chain and taken for a 2 min dry off. When I lubed the chain this gap was visible.

    Is it ok?

  2. Yes it’s the same on mine

  3. In fairness to the usual standard of manufacture by those keen eyed Italian masters of their trade, it's highly plausible they managed to cock two up

God bless those little scamps

  4. I’ve never known a socket carrier to not go all the way in. That gap is big enough to get dirt/grit in to start eating things.

  5. It's called character........:eyes:

  6. There’s a spacer sitting between the carrier bearings and wheel bearing. Doesn’t look too out of kilter tbh. Check the axle nut torque. It’s that that pulls the assembly together

  7. Thank you, do you know the torque setting, I think I read 90lbft somewhere

  8. I’m all metric.... I think it’s 180Nm but I’m not 100%. I can check tomorrow

  10. Folks, thank you all, I'll check torque and continue enjoying.

  11. Its called a Cush drive to stop vibration. Stop looking for problems & ride.
