Thanks to the Eagle eyes of the Ducatista at the Forum barbecue that spotted a small piece of metal in my rear tyre, I removed the offending object to discover I had a puncture, luckily I left it until I got home, so this morning I removed the tyre with my home made bead breaker and now it's ready for repair. It's right in the centre of the tread so I'm not expecting any problem.

Son in law who is an uber tech obsessed but thanks to my daughter and their two kids, is perpetually skint, is coming round this morning to take my old tv down the dump as I prefer not to own a car.

He thinks I have bought a Samsung 55 inch ultra hd, hdr, 4k wifi enabled smart tv to replace my old type 32 inch polaroid tv. I have, but it's for him as a thank you for looking after my daughter, my grankids and the sacrifices he makes for them

Been cheering Carole on as she finished the Endure24 mud plugger event at Wasing today. Over 3500 mad people running 5 mile laps around the Wasing estate for 24 hours. The maddest of all were reaching the 100 miles mark whilst many of the fun runners were managing 4 or 5 laps each in their teams. Carole exceeded her personal target managing 4 laps including a night lap and is now soaking in the bath. Going to take her out for a spot of lunch and maybe a beer or two, she certainly deserves it. That was a great season. Was still getting excited even though I knew the result

And yesterday visited a gentlemen with the most amazing Ducati collection. Around 20 bikes in all. With some very unique stories associated to a lot of them. Spent a good 3 hours chatting about them. Coming away a lot wiser.
