  1. Regretted selling my last hyper 1100....I almost got it back (90% through arrangements) then the wife came on and that was that. 3 of my 4 that I currently have I'm keeping.... The 4th (525 super moto) I'm trying to keep....as soon as the summer comes she'll be on me to sell it...got some sneaky plans up my sleeve to keep it though...

  6. I sold my first big boys bike, ZX6R, to a kid who called me about a hour later to tell me he had crashed it into a parked car, totalling the front end. About a month later he sent pictures of it looking like something Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift coughed up. I’ve apologised to the bike gods every day since.

  7. Got a KTM 990 SMR stolen. Still miss it as it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned. Got a 990 SMT now that’s practically the same but just isn’t quite as sexy (bigger fuel tank and touring screen doesn’t equal sexy in the same way my bigger tank on my belly doesn’t).

  8. Two I regret selling..... a mint gixer 1100, last of the oil cooled brutes and an Honda vtr sp 2... still wish I still had the sp, great machine to ride.

  9. Well, I've resisted as much as I can. :cold_sweat:

Thinking about it, I've sold a lot of bikes that I'd still like to own, but the money has always went on "trading up". So while I'd like to own them still, what I ended up with is better in my eyes. It's not like I've ever blown the money on anything other than another bike.

If you take that out of the equation, and if I had to choose one bike to still have in the garage................I guess it would be my Aprilia Tuono Factory. I still say it's probably the best made bike I've ever owned and a hoot to ride.

  16. I tend to agree with this, Was one of only 2 bikes ive ever bought brand new and bought it over the phone whilst in bed 4 or 5 days after having back surgery(was still on crutches), Only kept it a short while and sold it with only having just had the first service done, Had done under 1000miles on clock, Other than that my old 98 yellow 916

  17. Too many to list, but mainly for huge gains in price. But if we take value out of the equation, I regret selling the GSXR 1000 K5 in all black with buckets of carbon, the whale tail moonstone blue RS500 Cosworth, the 911 C4S (but strangely don't regret the 911 turbo) and possibly the DVT at the end of this week, but time will tell...... :worried:

  18. Easy one for me. My split mint 2006 999R. I was left staring at a pile of cash on the kitchen table and I knew right then I'd fucked up. Ah well, never mind.
