  7. Sat in Nero's in Newbury eating a piece of disgustingly delicious salted caramel cheese cake washed down with a simple ordinary black coffee. Getting the strength up to shop for a new mobile phone. My old Galaxy Note 4 is just that, old. Andy

  11. Kind of nice as something to mess around with....if you want send it to me ill reflash it with the latest software and send it back....the only downside of reflashing it is normally on the reflashed system your given "root" privileges which means that banking software for example wont work. You can find apps that hide the root but theyre a bit hit or miss...

  12. Well you live and learn :upyeah: Thanks for the offer but in the intervening time between posts, a nice new G Note 8 just sort of found its way onto the credit card :D I need to remember how to transfer info between phones as it has been a while and then do a factory reset to wipe my data which is mostly on a micro SD. Off to Montmelo in a couple of days so will try and get my head round it after we get back. Andy

  17. It could be a split in the hose inside the tank connecting the filter to the pump, they do deteriorate permanently submerged in petrol.
