  2. Thanks Glidd. Should be fine. Worst case is I go self employed/ltd co and earn about twice my regular salary (but be at the mercy of clients from Mumbai to Massachusetts, and hence ruining my time with the kids). Bloody insular septic companies!!!

    still, got a week in La Plagne booked and paid for with my lads to look forward to in a couple of weeks :)

  4. Yesterday I was in London avoiding lunatic bikers in the rush hour. I could have knocked them off their bikes without consequence apparently. :smile:

    Dead mouse on stairs
    Got told off
    Went to physio
    Went to sorting office
    Car broke on way back to work (pothole damage I suspect)
    Limped to local garage
    Walked to work in rain
    Cheered up as one of my team had bought me this

  7. Well today has been interesting so far! Went to work as usual, did a couple of jobs in one exchange and then popped to the local stores to pick up a couple of bits and pieces and that's where it all went a bit wrong! Started to feel a bit dizzy, came over all clammy and had to sit down, colleagues were a bit concerned so called a paramedic who did the full check, ECG, diabetes, blood pressure, oxygen levels etc. So far seems to be I've got a serious chest infection ( got to call my GP after 2.30) and nothing worse, but did give me a bit of a shock! Was off just about a week ago with a bad chest but thought I'd got over it, obviously haven't. Antibiotics and steroids here I come!

  14. Don't ride a bike then, or if you do, wear a yellow jersey and start writing notes for your appearance on Oprah so you can be believable!

  15. Thanks, no bike riding for me for a while, no breath for a push bike and too much s@@t on the roads for the Duke still! GP has given me a week off with a warning to go back next week if no improvements but strangely can't find any sign of infection, that worries me more than anything else.

    Thanks everyone for your best wishes. I hope to be fit soon.

  20. I've been to the dentist, first thing, for a check up up and then the hygenist's scrape and polish. And thank God everything is ok for another six months.

    Also had two conference calls so far today (one to the UAE and one to the US). Today looks like it's gonna be a "talking" type of a day rather than paperwork. :upyeah:
