See post #27 for more pictures This will be on Ebay at the weekend if I get my finger out! Please share if you know of anyone who may be interested - had a look at other 'asking' prices and will be putting it up for £5995 due to the condition and mileage. (Offers considered of course). Just MOT'd on Saturday, new fork seals and new battery fitted Saturday too and a check over by an Aprilia Specialist. Bodywork is undamaged and painted by Racepaints of Nottingham and is quite exceptional - better than all the fuddy-duddy standard schemes on these bikes. 2004 model with only 6000 miles! These models come with Forged OZ wheels, Ohlins Forks, Shock and Steering Damper. Gearbox mod complete for much slicker gear changes. The critical Swing Arm recall has been done. Starts on the button due to having a fab Exact Start Cable Kit Fitted, the first Aprilia ever to have one fitted It's very yummy
I am going to give it a clean and take fresh photo's for an Ebay listing in the morning (if I can get motivated)
Think i've seen it on the AP facebook page before ? Wish you luck, that is a big ask for an 04 bike but it is very clean. If you have a service history to back up the mileage i would mention it. Anyone in the Aprilia world or doing homework will know about the 04 dash mileage reset issues, so tend to be wary of low mileage without anything to back it up. Not that mileage is an issue on those but it does reflect on the price. Have a cable kit on mine (copper kits) makes a big difference. Had 3 rsv's now, The motors are bulletproof generally.
Cheers Spoons. There are 2 of similar age on Ebay for circa £5500 with double the mileage - mileage is verified by MOT's / history - no dash reset - not run since 2013 when I had it on the road last. A mate posted it last week on some Aprilia forum / fb page I think. Thought I'd price to the current 'Ebay asking price' market but will ultimately sell for what it sells for the difficulty is pricing it the same or lower than those 2 and people still wanting a big chunk off.
I went by the ebay price then added the Elsie tax to get to the super high offer of £4K plus wotsits. I noticed a whine when I made my offer.
Would fit nicely in your garage too, and as a bonus you don’t need to travel to the far south for it either
