Howdy!

  1. Hi All,

After a life time of motorcycling and owning a lot of motorcycles, I finally took the plunge and bought a Multistrada, having promised myself a Ducati 'before I hang up my boots'!

So far, so good. A very different motorcycle indeed.

  7. Lovely - and you live in Derbyshire where the roads are available to test it.

  15. Thanks to all who took the time to say Hi!

I have lived in a diet of BMW's, Triumphs (still have one of those mind you), and many Honda's plus a sprinkling of Harley Davidson (don't go there!) and Yamaha.

Looking for a new bike took a lot of thinking about. I was passed by a guy on a GS (had two of those) and thought 'God, that looks so boring'. In reality, a great bike but ever so slightly dull.

Test rode the MS 1200 last year and loved it. Test rode the MS 1260 a couple of weeks back and was blown away by it.

A truly exciting and capable motorcycle, away from German shades of grey and into the colourful world of Italian madness! Feel even better now that Lorenzo has won the last two MotoGP races - feeling very smug!

  16. And you chose a white one :D

Welcome into the red mad house now that’s away from the shades of grey

And where’s ya bins we like bins it’s a forum law

  17. Standing out from the crowd - now there's a thought?

There is a very good reason I chose white - I had a near death experience on a red bike last year. Call me superstitious but I couldn't buy another red bike!
