Replacement Screen

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by Richie Rich, Jan 25, 2013.

  1. I would have bought white bolts

Looking good with that tinted screen, I do prefer them over the clear

  2. at least you know where I was coming from (yeah back of the Chemistry lab)

  3. Moved to Superbike

  4. I've been looking at these just as an idea for future. Is that the stock shape?

I've never bought one for my bikes before but think the 848 could really use a larger screen. Loads of double bubble options out there but liking the Zero Gravity ones.

  5. It's standard size, hate the look of BB ones not sure about the stickers on the sides

  6. Yeah, these are both the queries I am thinking over.

Generally I don't like larger screens and of the options available I don't really like DB ones either. This is the first bike that I've ever contemplated changing the screen on. The logos look ok, but in an ideal world I'd prefer to have a screen without any logos.

It's one I'll sort out once I've had the bike a wee while.

  7. The logos are only stickers....they come off easy.

The Ducati performance screen is an alternative, similar to what your describing. The profile s the same (not double bubble) but its about 2" longer, hense taller.

I just wanted the stock shape screen but tinted that's why I got the zero gravity SR (standard replacement) as above.

  8. got this one, £10 of ebay -

  9. I was wandering about on Ducati Glasgow's website earlier and noticed the Ducati tall screen.

It looks like the right idea. £110 though...! Will see how I get on with the stock one.

Cheers. Sorry for muscling in on the thread. :)
