Just watched race a bit late, as did dads day stuff all day. Fuggin really really boring!! Nearly dozed off... ..As for George, I personally don't think he'll win many more, as those two tracks are indeed two he loves that suit the bike a bit better, but time will tell eh. In the meantime, am I the only one who thought that was a bit crap today??
Its very unlikely, (but possible!) that JLo will win the championship for Ducati, and it would be a great story. Beating MM at Honda? Maybe we will see a Senna vs Prost style meltdown next year.
Yep it was not very stimulating that’s for sure. Apart from the fire I don’t agree with all the contract bullshit coming out and already agreed at this point of the season , as it affects the attitude to some degree. For me it is taking the edge off what should be “off season” haggling and fighting for a spot , giving not so much time for perfecting the bike too much pre season. There have been some cracking seasons of late, however so far 2018 is not looking to be a stand out championship. The way riders are swapping teams now it’s getting to be like Premiership football. Please don’t make this yet another sport to be a total slave to the accountants.
Teams are desperate to discover the new Marquez coming up from Moto 2 and get them nailed down early. Once Joan Mir was on the move, the musical chairs started and it became obvious that someone was going to be left standing when then music stopped. There were a lot of nervous riders early in the season.
You've got to say Lorenzo has turned it around. It does make for very boring viewing though. Hats off to him, the boy done well. However the timing is nothing short of cruel. Conversely Dovi has turned into Crutchlow! How weird is that. Let's hope he doesn't enter for 'Skating on ice' over the winter. It's a weird season so far. Maybe there's more interest to come though.
Wonder if JLo is planning on sticking a Honda fairing on that Ducati. It’s properly rapid and now it does the corner stuff too.
Who will have McPhee on a bike next year?! Not sure I would, unless I was happy with a few points for the season. Not like he seems to be a development rider either. Good rider. So has he just not got the bottle for it?!

Looks like Folger has escaped the camel farm and is testing the new triumph engine moto 2 bike. Be great if he’s getting over his illness.
Last I’d heard was a team manager saying that he’d gone off radar. Wouldn’t answer calls, messages etc.
