Weather forecast is dry all day, but rain later in the evening. That'll do. See you at the Ace at noon. And then head down to the Bike Shed (in Old Street, 10 miles from the Ace) about 3 ish.
Good to meet up again Pete, sorry to let the side down by being on my MV today, will try better next time
Are you going to classic's at the villa again this year? Should be a few more MV's this year hopefully .
The Bike Shed at about 4pm. Great to see Ian Meek and Gaetano Mansi on their respective 250 and 860 bevels today. Sadly my 450 succumbed to a lack of electricity, so I had to take it home on the trailer. May be the regulator - rectifier. Many thanks to David B-J for his kind assistance.
Ha ha. That’s exactly what I said five years ago ... So I built it myself. Glad that you like it Details posted in the ‘other bikes’ section on here LINKY
Meet at the Ace Cafe coming up this Sunday 27 May from 12 noon. It is also a Royal British Legion day, so please support that too. I am due to buy a Moto Guzzi 850 Le Mans tomorrow - not likely to be ready (and legal) to ride by this Sunday though. On the other hand, my Ducati 450 Scrambler is now working fine with its new regulator-rectifier.
Turns out my Le Mans actually is ready and legal now, so I plan to ride it to the Ace tomorrow. Weather is mild and warm, but chance of a shower.
The fourth Sunday is coming up again. I'll be at the Ace on Sunday 24 June from 12 noon, for those who might want to join me. Not decided yet which bike to go on. Weather looking great. Maybe head down to the Bike Shed later on.
I Unlikely that I can make this Sunday. Been away for a while and back late sat night/ early Sunday .. family are coming around so needs must.
