  3. Ref F1, I agree the total lack of overtakes is getting really old now. As someone else said, I like the build up and the technology side of it, the cars are master pieces, just think they need to do something really radical, like make the tyres even wider, and chop the wings in half. Have you seen the McClaren front wing, it's ridiculous, they need to simplify stuff. Also I think more of the strategy should be in the drivers hands somehow so that they are the ones under pressure to decide when to pit etc.

Ref TopGear, I disagree, I think this season has got really good and think they are really sensitive in the way they film things, like the Japan episode for example. I also went to watch the filming last week and the chemistry in real life is pretty good between the 3 presenters, they are all super passionate about cars and while I agree that the other 2 are just as good as Matt and just as hard working, I do think there is a place for him on the show.

  4. Paul Ricard F1 race today was pretty good. Lots of overtaking, crashes with no injuries, far better than Monaco or Canada. Austria next Sunday!

  5. Couldn't of been that good.Still heard it was a Pole to finish 1st race for Hamilton.

  6. You heard correctly, Lewis drove faultlessly, with an upgraded engine. There was a big crash on the first corner. Following this Vettel came from last to fifth, Bottas from 17th to seventh, with some good mid pack duels. It wasn't a classic, but it certainly wasn't a procession. In football terms scoring six is the holy grail apparently, so this would be like winning 3-1. Decent.

  7. I was flicking around the T>V last night from the Isle of wight festival to F! (Boring) but i have to say Lewis gets the job done every time:upyeah:

  8. When Vettel doesn't beat him to it. They are pretty evenly matched this season so far.

  9. Not been watching but have seen bits/results when flicking channels so anybody's championship,a two horse race which is much better than a one horse race:upyeah:

  10. Totally agree. The Americas sailing cup is the oldest competition, but as the Americans won it from 1857 to 1983 (24 consecutive) it lost its appeal! Winning every year is a tremendous achievement but not great for any sport.

Lewis is a Brit so I want him to win, but Seb has a more appealing personality. Bottas is the underdog so I want to see him break through, but Kimi is the best liked F1 driver in the world. And all the while Red Bull are in the mix.
