Dainese 4 Stroke Evo Gloves White/red/black

  1. I can't remember how long ago I bought these but as you can see they are in OK-nick.

Sadly though it seems that my Multistrada grips have slowly worn away the palm part of the gloves, right through. I put some white card inside so you can see better.

As they are £160 to replace I was wondering if they can be sent to Dainese? Without a receipt of purchase, I guess I'm not going to get far.

Bummer hey as I really like these gloves... They make a wonderful crack when banging on the myopic driver's windows of London to get their attention.

  2. My uncle was chatting to his local bike shop and mentioned that his year old alpine star gloves were coming apart at the seams. Dealer seemed disinterested and said, “what do you expect after a year” to which my uncle replied he only does about 1500 miles a year. Anyway, the dealer sent them off but wasn’t hopeful. Got back a refurbed and good as new pair for nothing.

Give it a go, you may get somewhere.

  3. Yeah I was hoping for this sort of conclusion. Have you had any experience with Dainese and where I would send these off to, Should I just write "Dainese returns, Italy" on the package lol.

  4. No idea, I’d approach a dealer

  5. I feel for you. I had a lovely supple pair of Kushitani gloves. Kangaroo skin and they were so comfy. I just wore them out. Mind you I did go down the road in them 3 times. Actually, they were unlucky gloves, so fuck em.

  7. Amazing thank you! Excuse me, you speaka-di-English. My Italian is pretty much terrible

  8. Why would you want another pair of the same gloves that wore away in 1,500 miles ?

  9. True, if he were buying, although he got them repaired FOC so why wouldn’t you?

  10. Kushitani....had a pair of those back in the 90's - like wearing marigolds arent they...

  11. Had a pair of RevIt ones about 10 years ago. They were so comfy and so good, I had them many years until I wore through the Palm. Could never get the same model again :worried:

Now on Knox Handroid. Took some proper breaking in and thought they were awful for the first week. Great gloves now though

  12. Because they needed repairing in the first instance, would be enough to reduce may faith in them to do their job should you need them to ?

  13. So, got me thinking. Does anyone offer a quality motorcycle glove repair service? I have a pair of the Alpinestars GP Tech gloves and the kangaroo palm has worn through near the thumb. Other than that the gloves are perfect. At £240 ish a pair surely someone must offer repairs somewhere? I have had them a few years so no warranty would be on them.

  14. Got a response about the gloves... Sounds like 'leaves on the track to me' BS

thanks for your email. First of all, we really apologize for having given to you cause for complaint.

Rain or - even worse - sweat might seriously attack the leather, especially on the palms (where its thickness is between 0,6-0,8 mm. to allow best sensibility to the driver) and once it dries up it becomes stiff and weak, very easy to tear up.

A good maintenance with our protection and cleaning products is strongly recommended to retain their original softness, as indicated in the warning leaflet that came with the gloves.

The use given to the item can lead to a quick wear of the gloves, that are – along with the shoes – the two categories of products most sensible to wear.

In this case, we can confirm you that the leather is not defective.

We really apologize for the fact we can’t help you out.

We remain at your disposal if you require further information.

    Best regards
