I voted Hendrix, only one I heard of.

 

Jeff Beck is one of those guitarist which I find difficult to fully get to terms with, when he's good he's devastatingly good but when he's playing normally he's frustrating.

Agreed Jez, my favourite live, saw him in small venues too, taken to early.

 

He recorded most of the guitar on Bowies Lets Dance album too. Its crazy that his hands are moving so fast they are blurred in the video!
