I hope you poured a bag of gravel into your end can before setting off, and accidentally overtook him on occasion.
Today I shall be watching Eng pummel India in T20 at Bristol. On medical advice rehydration therapy may involve lager......
Just sat here waiting on our lift to Englefield House, got tickets for the Tom Jones concert tonight Andy
Car day. So down to pembrey to watch some old mates race. Lovely day for it, even with old school aircon(windows and sunroof )
Had a blast on the R and on the way back a chap on a Triumph Rocket 111 kept snapping at my heelswe stop for a few moments and had a chat
This morning I took SWMBO to the station as she’s up in Scotland this coming week visiting #1 son and family. Apparently she’s had the journey of hell as two trains we cancelled up to Glasgow and she had to get there by a circuitous route. At midday I met @bettes and we headed to Scarborough where we had fish and chips followed by a “99” ice cream afterwards. On the way back you stopped at Squires for refreshments. All in 208 very brisk miles. It was great while moving but too hot when stopped. Great day though
Been out and about and messing around today. Sitting down now and the house is hotter than outside. 24° in here.
My ABBA paddock stand catches the gear lever on my LC and I almost bent it back on itself once. No idea why as it has the correct adaptors. I got a friend to make a longer adaptor for me. I took the time to beef it up a little and tried it today, works like a charm. I love engineering, me.
Had a nice ride up to the cafe for breakfast on the NS400 then rode home the long way as it was so nice, had a couple of hours snooze then finished putting the front brakes back on the goldwing followrd by a short test ride, worried it may have blown a head gasket as it has developed a slight misfire at idle and is also smoking a little bit on one side but not able to check it out properly just yet. Took the SPS over towards St Albans this evening to meet up with an old racing mate who I haven't seen for months and had a catch up on everything before a nice spirited ride home along the country lanes. Now trying not to think about work in the morning.
Drove up from Portsmouth to London then decided it was too hot to be stuck on a bike in the terrible traffic that blights the South East. So I've done 4/5ths of FA.
