Agree. This is the second time we've accepted an offer only to be withdrawn due to the buyer not being able to raise the funds! Getting really tits'd off with the agents and their screening policy of potential buyers. We really don't want to lose the house we've seen, maybe luckily for us we know the seller who is being very patient with us.... for now. We have more viewings booked for this weekend.... So it's a waiting game again!
I didn’t realise you were in the same boat. Everyone in “the chain” is seemingly giving 2 weeks grace for things to get sorted. If they don’t get sorted then it all goes back on the market.
It’s an emotional rollercoaster, being operated by professional time wasters. If this comes off I’m never moving again!
Have to ask if you guys (selling houses) are being realistic. Ours was FTB, we were going into rental, and still too 4 months!!
If the chain doesn’t collapse then it should take 8 weeks (as they are all “cash with sale” buyers allegedly). In my case it will depend on my buyers, buyers, buyer who are allegedly pissing about, possibly to strike a better deal. Who knows.
Took 2 off the dogs to the vets for a checkover the eldest one had his booster jab in and out within 30mins and a £90 bill
Paul, my overweight friend moved to Australia a few years back. Well I’ve just heard some fantastic news, he’s returning to the UK next week for good. Yep Fat Paul’s coming home.
I have bought and sold or built and sold 10 properties in the last 4 years (20 transactions) and I haven't completed one deal in less than 12 weeks even with cash purchases on empty properties. Most have taken 16 to 20 weeks, it's a joke. After personally moving 4 times in 4 years it does get easier and you tend to spot the timewasters at an early stage. It is pointless getting stressed over the process you just have to sit back and let it run it's course. That's easy to say of course but I was on my own, when we sold my GF house recently and she was moving in with me that was a whole new level of the word stress selling her house. Women know how to create drama......don't they just.
That would be fun (with a bike in there too) but where beyond Europe? Can get a lil dodgy and there's plenty to see within 2000 miles or so
Just enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours with Carole drinking ice cold Asahi and eating a selection of cold and both hot and chilli hot Japanese dishes for supper. I now feel a lot more chilled than the outside temperature. Andy
Went to Buck Pal to watch the RAF centenary flypast. Battle of Brittain Squadron and the Typhoons were really impressive. Cuppa tea in St James park then back to watch the France Belgium semi final. That ....was nowhere near as impressive as I thought it would be. We could do this. Fingers crossed.
