Whoa fella, steady on. My comment was not a criticism nor did I say whether I liked the seat or not. As it happens I think Carry On Screaming is the best Carry on Film made , if having your bike compared to the Fenella Fielding as seen in that link and a comment about red paintwork & plush upholstery upsets you I cant for the life of me see why. I`d take it as a compliment. Personal taste is just that and I would not post a critical comment on anyone`s bike, wife, dog, house etc just because I may not like how it looks.
Anyone would think I'm a bit touchy I will take it as a compliment then......not sure I can see the likeness between a bike and Fenella Fielding (better than Noel Fielding though) but I do like a good Carry On film

That's a fair point about noobie and his commment! Truth is I'm not totally convinced myself on the look of the seat, but it's so comfortable and it's definitely growing on me. I was hoping you wouldn't bring up my big moustache, however it's more Terry Thomas than porn star plumber, I tend to ride around with a velvet smoking jacket and paisley cravat now I have my new seat, winking at the ladies and smoking a pipe of course

I had a vanden plaas , the whole front suspension collapsed at 35mph, The square steering wheel looked funny as it was moving around.

Yes I know. Corbin UK only had the one in stock, I may have gone for a different stitch pattern if I had ordered one but I was too impatient to wait, so I took what they had, and it's definitely growing on me now. Most importantly it is very comfortable. Plus it's the heated version which they did me at the standard price. I'm not sure about plugging it in though, I don't really want toasted balls! Having said that I ride all year and might just appreciate it in the winter as I scrape the frost off my seat!
And a square steering wheel ?? Mine was utter shit, which is why I shifted it soon after the "L" plates came off and bought an Alfasud Ti. Utter garbage, can't for the life of me understand why BL went under ??
I actually quite like it and if stops the arse ache then all the better. I know Ducabike (http://ducabike.com/ducatiparts/en/lista-prodotti/2161-csmtscen-mts-enduro-seat-cover-confort.html) do a cover for the seat that approx £200+ but its a little too garish for my taste (but each to their own) and then you have to pay to have it fitted.
I wish I could have gotten the heated seat at the standard price! Oh well, but I ordered mine with this pattern specifically, I like it.
