  1. Yeah, I think the hint was "I think" rather than "here are the facts". I have emboldened them in my previous post for you now EL?

  2. Not at all but some people seem to like to berate others for their opinions and then try to claim their opinions are fact.

  3. Which was fine but you chose to highlight my quote talking about facts.

The “fact” that you and others shout your opinions the loudest on here does not make them fact. Fact.

  4. I made it very clear mine was a thought on the thread and not a fact, you chose to jump in with out reading properly and confused the two. now your trying to cover it by battling your way out when there was never a need too

Have you bought one and that is why you are tetchy?

  5. the dealer I spoke to has sold every one he ordered for this year. He even had four orders cancelled but sold them again within a week. He has since ordered some more and sold those too.

The technology is a big step on from anything before. The power of the latest bikes means you need the biggest balls and the very best skills to get the most from it.

  6. I read it absolutely correctly. I asked for facts.....you gave your thoughts. Because they’re your thoughts does not make them facts as you seem to think, strangely enough.

I have come to learn over time that you and certain others have very fixed opinions about most things. You’ll never change them and I certainly can’t be arsed to try. Crack on believing what you believe.

  7. El, you having the arseole in this thread where NOTHING I have said is claimed as fact has more to do with how you are today and little more

Not correct, I gave an opinion, you asked for facts and I again pointed out it was an opinion and nothing more, please be more correct

  8. You test ride one and a dealer selling them says he can't get enough of them. Wow. I wonder what he'd say to someone wanting to p/x one.

    No it's not.

This has been the case for ages wih most hyper bikes. Although big balls can often = Accident & Emergency. Give me a bigger sense of self preservation any day.

  9. Ebay has 3 used for sale, two look like dealers demonstrators? and one private sale selling a S model with 550 miles for £20,750

Bike trader has 13, 10 are used, at dealers and appear to be demonstrators also

  10. Save half of the money you would spend on a V4 Pani and get a coupla years old RSV4….they're ace!.....oops forgot i'm on the Duc forum...:upyeah:

  11. Doen't matter what bike or car it is...
It costs 24k brand new...how much could sell for after 1-3 months?
Would I buy from private a "used" for only 2000 less than a brand new bike? Definitely not...2000 is not worth the risk(dealing with private as opposed to dealer) and also when comming to sell will have 2 owners on V5.
Also bear in mind there aren't too many buyers running around with 22k in cash. I am not sure but I assume it is much more difficult to get a loan or higher interest rates if the bike is owned/sold by a private seller.
I bet the dealers won't offer more than 20k for the bike, so he was hopping to get couple of hundred more.

IMHO anything above 15-20k is difficult to sell privately, unless is a very limited edition or collectable item.
Feel sorry for the chap..but should due the maths before buying an expensive mass produced bike.

  12. As a forum part timer/ occasional contributor I find the consistent anti V4 theme to seemingly every thread I read really puzzling. It’s like people want it to fail.

Especially as most of the dislike appears to be about the looks? Looks are subjective anyway, in my opinion it looks very similar to any other Panigale. Slightly fatter (negative), but the headlight area is more modern (positive). How anyone can love the older ones and absolutely detest the update I don’t understand!?

  13. I think its more a case of some people just enjoy being a negative troll.

For whatever reason (and i would guess its something missing in their life) its the only pleasure they can muster.

  14. Suspect it’s that the bike does look worse than the outgoing bike (that plastic around the tank !!) and some feel let down as it’s a departure from a twin.

  18. Ooo Ooo, I've found something I like. :)

The front reflectors on the brake calipers look easier to remove than the ones usually found on the fork stanchions.
