I know it's a bit chilly but the sun is out (finally) So who of you have been brave and gone for a spin & where did you end up?
Going to Southend in a bit on the 907. 20/30 mins each way. Meet up with mates from way back(regular Saturday thing). Burger and a beer. Sad occasion this week as one of the guys died of cancer last week at 58. RIP Tommo.
Just been out Stratford-upon-Avon way, cold but First time out in 3 months and now I've got a cracking smile on my face!
Been out all morning although still a tad cold, been messing around with some new suspension seetings and have improved the front end feel but have sacrificed some turn in. Never mind i will get out in the morning for another paly around when i get to Box Hill.
Just been out for a ride around Northleach/Bibury/Burford. Managed to show some flash get in an orange Lambo why 2 wheels are better than 4! ! However, have fallen foul to a nail in my rear tyre which, luckily, only became apparent on my post ride clean! Did wonder why things were a bit wriggly........!!!
I enjoyed my ride so much today, I got lost in thought and ran away with myself and forgot which roads I was on, where I was going everything ... I just kept going so where I have been ... no idea  I just went with it ..! Stu
I got the Monster out and went to Metropolis in Barnet with with my mate (on a 1198) and test rode the Multistrada - what a great day for it - bring on 2013
Went out yesterday as it was sunny down here in Hampshire. First ride since September. Scared the shit out of myself. Forgot how fast it goes and boy was it cold. My neighbour told me I wobbled down the road. More practice required but will wait till its warmed up a bit. Regards Steve
Went up to Settle - was lovely to get out and give the 600ss a run out - was really really cold though!
Went over to Italia Moto in Lincoln & had a coffee with Phil & the guys. Super ride over & back, roads were dry & the cold temps didn't affect me as I had my Gerbing heated gear on under my leathers. Good to see business is good for Italia & nice to see a delighted young lady buy a 696 Monster. I was gobsmacked when Phil told me what he reckoned my GT1000 is worth. Made sure I cleaned the bike well after returning home!
Went into sunny Shropshire today - very cold, but dry. Thinking the salt has all been washed away by now. Mine's a GT1000 touring. Interested in what Phil reckoned yours was worth Rudolph...?
No bike - cant even fiddle in the garage Great ride on Saturday to MR though - birds were singing this morning - roll on spring
Love rides like that. Just a basic idea of where to head and see if i can find some cracking new roads to ride. Bliss!
I got out Sat for an hour or so - gave my RGV a stretch of its legs. Was worried that standing wasn't doing it any good ... old school carbs 'n' that. Fretted for a bit coz initially it wouldn't start but she fired-up once I got the choke and throttle just right ... temperamental wee thing!
Did about a 250km ride today, was really pleasant as temp was about 18deg C , which was a nice change, as it's been in the high 20's/low 30's for the last 3 weeks , really too hot for a comfortable ride, how's your weather been ?
