You will find it was listed as Gloss Black and not Nero Gloss in the details - Nero is not a model designation but people use it as such - is what I am saying as well you know Dark was a model designation for the Matt Black bikes...
Muppet, I never said anything about model designation. Why are you changing the subject? Ask one of the factory workers to describe a black 999S (or any black bike for that matter) and they will call it "nero". Now will you stop avoiding work and start doing something useful (if those things are not incompatible in your case)?
I always thought it was 749 dark was the matt paint 749 black was just a black 749 and the nero was a limited edition only applicable to the 999 ??? https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C935826
Sssshh, noobie, I have only just managed to straighten Elise out. Don't go undoing many minutes of hard work.
Its lovely ... I've spoken to the op in the past and would love to buy it but unfortunately Im not in the position to do so.. I'll have to make do with the cheap (tatty) xerox one I've got to scratch the 749 itch. Glws @MushHaze I'm sure you won't have too much prob selling.
