No he wasnt asking if they adhered to the regulations. He is acting like a petulant child who wants to weedle his way out of his own responsibilty for his actions. Nowt to do with the regultaions on postioning or roads marking or signage if you read his first post.
We are all looking for speed cameras as we move along but we do look for orange/yellow-ish boxes or cameras. Not units that look like congestion charge cameras and are painted to blend in with wall behind them. I also was not talking about that .... What you are on about cranked is complete bullshit. If authority fully complies with regulation I would have no way to "wiggle out" of it. If you do not challenge and/or research the situation but instead comply ASAP. Even if they had no signs at all and camera set 10mph below speed limit by blindly complying they are screwing you over. Finally I guess you missed the sentence or two right after I described the 3 pictures I got as it was one of avenues I was asking about, compliance. For example none of the pictures sent to me have the white lines drawn on the road that are used in conjunction with speed cameras. Is that legal or not?
Given the OP lives in That London, where the streets are paved with gold, then the fine should be a drop in the ocean and all this debate is mere fanciful chatter.
Now you made it more complicated then I got pictures from front before I crossed the bridge (still on the length of the hotel just before the river) how is that average? Yep

were these last two posts done over an average time Luca? only you have exceeded the forum limit so a fine will be in the post...........unless it was a "friend"
I'm assuming there is a photo taken of every vehicle crossing, just to prove they were there. As far as I'm aware it's definitely average speed they get you on.
You missed three chances to see it was a 20mph limit? Before you even get to the bridge there's a sign warning you of a camera, two 20mph signs, and the bloody massive 20mph signs painted every so often on the lanes? Mate, seriously poor obs. Or an attitude that speed limits don't apply to you.
It sounds like you have a genuine grievance re the speed limit being inadequately indicated at night times (markings only on road - difficult to see at night/bad weather - grey cash-cam - also invisible at night). So the question is if you feel outraged enough to go and argue it in court. If my licence depended on it I might or if it was bad enough that I thought it was clearly a rip-off, I might but otherwise.....lot of aggro for 60 quid and 3 points, no? BTW, I wouldn't try and put someone else driving the car unless there really was. That can escalate into some very serious charges (perverting course of justice, perjury etc. Just not worth it).
Not to mention the two 20mph signs where you'd expect to see them. And the fact that the roads are well lit, so the markings on them are visible even in the middle of the night. But yep, apart from that...
Can't say I've driven over that road much myself. I was going on Luc's description. Anyway, given the above....ummmmmmm
Fight the Man, Lucasz! Don't let the buggers grind you down! (Does anyone know how to bake a file into a cake..?)
