Well Paivi I would suggest going out outside the commute hours, especially at this time of year where there is no moon. Many place's have lights switched off as no tourists. I've really only ever gone over it in the dark, but I guess I've got better obs. FYI, it's been 20mph since 2003 and the signage & cameras have been deemed legal by the courts.
Just cos they're legal doesn't automatically make them obvious though. I certainly didn't see them the first time I went over after they were installed, I was halfway across when another bike swerved across the road to stop me and warn me about them.

You have been driving, and driving long enough in this county to know the rules. The location has long been a point to fight by a variety of people on a variety of web sites (just google it..)and most of the stories i could find have ended up paying up........ The powers that be have more than complied with the legislation for a long time......... (ref the stories) Go on fight it............but most that complain about the system, only complain when they have been caught out. Were you fighting the cash camera thing or locations of speed cameras or their visibility before you were caught? nah.....................

You could argue that the bridge was opening and you needed to do more than 20 mph to safely make the jump to the other side, and you may even get a magistrate who considers that a completely plausible explanation........
As you say, the picture has been enhanced and corrected, this cannot be used as evidence :wink: Honest
sometimes they send you an enhanced copy not the evidential one............perhaps to help you remember who was driving...
