Is it just me or does anyone else think that certain songs should not be allowed to be remade, covered or changed in any manner? Queen song during closing ceremony comes to mind and now I found this in Poland.
She should be shot ~Then revived, then shot again Mind you, sometimes it turns out just dandy. Like this...
She is 41 so probably to old. Also she sing that song at the end of miss Poland 2012 so I suspect no one noticed the travesty of singing.
These are the equals of the original. You may think that Stairway to Heaven can only be done by Led Zeppelin but these two give them a run for their money. Stairway to Heaven live (Rodrigo y Gabriela) - YouTube Heart - Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin - Kennedy Center Honors - YouTube
I'm liking the Heart version As for covers being better than the original, just about any Bob Dylan song covered by anyone else will do...
I'm in severe danger of saying this but: I don't get Clapton. I was fortunate enough (or unfortunate enough) to see him at the Albert Hall in about 89?90 summat or other, and he bored the fucking pants off me. Wet, springs to mind. Buddy Guy played about three numbers and showed Clapton the meaning of blues guitar playing, blew him off the stage and imho made him look a right cunt. Some of the Cream stuff was sublime, but after that, nah, wouldn't give you tuppence for it.
My god - she really murdered it. I'd rather listen to my brother kill it on his ukulele!!! The Heart version blew me away
I say " if it ain't broke don't fix it " Cor blimey guv. However I do rather like this Turisas version of Boney M classic (metal).http://youtu.be/cdkBs0VCSX0 Tomorrow never knows by The Chameleons http://youtu.be/nwZR5Bj0xvU And Apocalyptica Seek and Destroy.http://youtu.be/W8CzHzU4Bgw
