Had one of those days where it is just a pleasure to be alive. I have an Observer training day on Sunday next weekend so headed out today with Carole and a close friend to reccy my 2 routes. A relatively early start with a ride from Reading to Andover for a fried breakfast and a bucket of coffee followed by a spirited ride to Salisbury. Both routes worked well and will engage my associate who rides a Harley. The run back home from Salisbury was one of those that you have no idea where you are until you see a signpost to a recognisable town so was great fun. Once home it was crack open the 5 litre Hobgoblin Gold beer barrel we bought in Costco and sit down to watch a recording of the first BSB race of the day at Brands. Before watching race 2, I fired up the BBQ and when ready cooked Wagyu burgers and Tiger prawns accompanied with fried onions and tender stem broccoli cooked with garlic and chilli and drank more Hobgoblin Gold. Stuffed and with the last of the Hobgoblin, sat down to watch race 2. Had to leave the car at Carole’s as 4 and a bit pints of Hobgoblin was a bit excessive to drive but I’m home and feeling sort of chilled and quietly happy. As I said, one of those days where it’s great to be alive and share stuff with friends Get out there people if you can and have a bit of me time fun. Andy
After 5 nights banished to bed-setee (?) due to all inclusive drinks the back finally gave up, the rib popped and the nerve trapped and so have self medicated on dubiously leagal pain killers and more all inclusive drinks.

Nice little ride down, quick beer, a burger, and home before the missus got the hump... 3 out of 4 is not bad.
Some pics from yesterday’s adventures in San Leo, San Marino, Rimini, Cattolica and the Festa at Monteferri yesterday evening
I phoned the wife at lunchtime to tell her I've booked a weeks holiday to a quiet part of Ibiza in six weeks time. "Oooh, it would be great if you made it longer" she said. So I've just been onto the travel agent, and we go in twelve weeks time now.
Hit some balls up the range (no euphemism intended) Saturday I shall be selecting some new clubs. He has won one? Top job. I saw the first few rounds and he was there at the start but fell off half way thru (pace, not off off).
Had a hospital appointment. I was delighted to learn that @Ducbird had told them I was coming and told them to lay a guard of honour on for me.
This morning I asked the barber how to treat baldness? Barber says to me "female love juices" I looked and said "But you're balder then me" He replied "Well I am, but I've got a cracking moustache"
