Bump Im surprised this hasn't went yet wish i got it for this price with everything on it when i was in the market for one
I know garry especially with whats on it and the low miles still get dreamers offering me a grand less
It amazes me there's such a price difference between standard SFs and S's. There shouldn't be and 7K for a tidy standard is an absolute steal. The production Ohlins fitted to the S isn't radically better than the Showa on the standard bike (different story if it's factory aftermarket Ohlins, like mine has ) but the production stuff doesn't warrant such a price difference just because it's gold coloured, and the TC system on the S is now so old hat by modern standards you're better off without it. Its not a bike that needs TC anyway. The S has slightly lighter wheels but we're not exactly talking BSTs. Service the suspension and get it set up properly, bin the exhaust valve and get it custom mapped to smooth the fuelling and in the real world as an actual rider's bike, a standard SF is every bit as good as an S unless you're a snob for badges and gold bits.
