Rob,The only one thing letting your immaculate garage down is that bloody trolly jack it needs a drop of paint PDQ
It needs throwing in the bin actually. That's about as high as it goes these days. Halfords Trade Card may be coming out.
Nor really sure, there’s an 1100 scrambler something out there and the extra horses would really tempt me ... I think.
Yes I've just ordered the Scrambler 1100 sport the same as El T's but if they had an 1100 desert sled I would have been trying that.
Just had a nice bimble around the back lanes for a couple of hours, very refreshing. Sorry no bin's around up here!!! Steve
Out on the scrambler against for a decent ride. On the A roads it's completely at ease. The power is not instant you have to wind it on a bit, but or suits the feel of the machine, I keep comparing it to my multistrada which is wrong, except it for what it is, a fun easy to ride, well made motorcycle and you won't be a bit disappointed. It clearly hasn't the horses or the wind protection of the multi but it's light, looks good and an absolute breeze to ride.
Had yet another battle with the DVLA over a reg number for my Panther project same discussion I had last week ie the bike doesn't have a NOVA certificate because it's not a import, Had a stroke of luck in the post today from the previous owner was the original purchase receipt from Pride & Clarke, Buff Log Book & Green Log Book the reg number is on the DVLA system so I've got a number plate made up , So it's 2 fingers up to the DVLA and I'm off for a ride
Just had a nosey in the builders skip next door after they had gone home, one man's rubbish an all that, couldn't believe my eyes a Makita radio, might do for spares for the one I use at work!!! it rattled when I picked it up so it nearly went straight back in but I opened the back up where the battery goes and what was rattling was the mains adapter, plugged it in just for curiosity and it works perfectly, every function works perfectly!!!! Now I have two, stereo tomorrow. Steve
