Hi everyone, just got hold of a bloody good nick 2006 999 (6000 miles from new!). And to celebrate I am heading up to the west coast of Scotland next week. Wondered if anyone would be interested to join me? Laid back..camping unless weather is torturous. I did the NW500 last year and will run some of it again, probably the applecross road, then up coast to north west tip and along north coast returning south via the Braemar road over the pass through the caingorms.... (need to sit down with a map,but the intention was to be reasonably free in making choices on the fly) I'll be setting off from the North East on either Sunday 5th or Monday 6th and have to be in the Harrogate area for lunch time Friday the 10th If you would like to join me for a mini adventure shoot me a PM, flexible is the name of the game..join for a short while or a couple of days or as you wish.... Took my 999, with luggage, to Switzerland last year. Apart from a killer case of flu, that was a great trip. The 999 does touring, you know!
I’m heading up for a long weekend from 10-14 and staying with #1 son in Helensburgh. On Saturday 11th we are going to watch the gymnastics in Glasgow I’m going up for another long weekend from 21-24 September too
