Both ours and the one we are buying are ‘sold subject to contact’ just need to through the legal side of things and then a completion date.... all going well.
It's taken us six months to get this far, with two false alarm offers. It's a proper pain in the arse and I'll be glad when it's over.
You've just to be patient and be prepared to meet the market on price, which in our case meant dropping the asking price below that of the agents suggested value. We realised we didn't want to lose the house we had seen, hopefully it'll go through now with no bother!
Our buyer is committed to buying our house allegedly but has a hiccup in his chain. We’ve put ours back on the market just in case, but if he comes good then it’s his at the price agreed. The people we are buying from are ok with this arrangement so far and are prepared to sit it out for the time being.
Chains are loaded with potential trouble. Good luck with it Terry hopefully good news will be on the way for you.
Erm: He said: Chains are loaded with potential trouble. Lighten up you to old grumpinesses shafted, chains, could get shafted FFS
I think it’s an attempt at humour Involving a play on chain or shaft driven bikes. I could be wrong though
They are a fun bike, that's for sure. Today I intended to be calm and fun loving. That thought has gone right out of the fucking window having to deal with idiot space cadets from China.
