My first Ducati A 1998 Sport Classic in Burnt Yellow Took her out and put the spurs to her today! All I can say is....:wink: (ps a big thank you to G. He was a seller after my own heart - honest. considerate and knowledgeable and thanks to his Mum who provided the coffee and ham rolls! )
Well done Triang.......very hard to find.. being patient is so hard to do dont you think??............
Thanks all! I have had at least 20 bikes since I passed my test in 1979 - all of them ( well apart from a brief affair with a Moto Guzzi 250 TS - don't ask ) have been good - but only 3 have been "Special"; My Moto Guzzi Le Mans II, My Triumph Daytona 900 and my Triumph Daytona 675. I knew the moment I first mounted my new SC that she was a special one - number 4. Here's the daft bit. I give the special ones a name (*blush*). So this one's "Ariel IV" - My Tricksy Spirit
Thanks Rikkd - so true, 2 weeks ago I was just dreaming of one thinking it would never happen - now she sits in my garage!
They've got to be one of the best looking bikes ever made, they're beautiful. Said it many, many times should never have sold mine had my exhausts polished ........
can't see it losing value if looked after and you don't hammer it on miles. Anyway, you've encouraged me to start buying some lottery tickets..... Lovely bikes
