Well i re-fitted my original 23,000 mile clutch plates back in my Monster today as tbh, they were hardly worn(less than 0.1mm thinner than the new ones), so the Newfren clutch plates i'd bought before xmas are back in their box after just 100 miles or so use!
Today has been spent recovering from last nights Super Bowl, nope I wasn't drunk, don't feel too sharp still so avoiding the demon booze, just too little sleep! Went to bed at @4 this morning and was up again @ 8.30. Tried to catch up this afternoon but only managed an hour so will be an early night me thinks!
AP race caliprs l have been mostly making this today l have some AP racing calipers (4 off) have machined a disc and made a hanger fits 888/900SS want one?

Went to a meeting of the Lawyers Secular Society, then on to a very posh bar in the Inner Temple for drinks with a bunch of barristers. It was great.
Yesterday was pretty routine in the main. Bit of paperwork, bit of chatting on the phone but finished with a couple of very encouraging conference calls yesterday evening. If people do what they say they're going to do then it might just be a half decent year.
Big boss in today which means a rummage in the wardrobe as I usually wear jeans and a Ducati t-shirt hate getting dressed up for work
I'm on holiday all week Bought some paint to tidy up my dining room and do the hallway. Well that's the intention Going to buy my monster on Saturday as it's my birthday (pressie to myself) Other than that catch up with all the paperwork and chill out
Just when I got back to work after the new year I am yet again snowed off pi***d off and fed up. Steve
That's Derbyshire for you. Wasn't it Derbyshire vs Lancashire that was called off due to snow in June many years back??
I'm not a quitter but as a self employed joiner it might be a bit difficult carrying a circular saw and 3 sheets of ply on a set of skis. We still have two foot drifts from the last snow fall and woke up this morning to another two inches on top of ice and it's still coming. Steve
It's taken me over an hour to get to work (mile and a half from home!) as the local council have done no gritting on the main roads and everyone is slipping and getting stuck. Some dozy car transporter driver thought it would be a good idea to try and get up one of the hilly side roads round here to get off the main road. The daft bastard is now wedged between a big stone wall and someones car that parked at the side of the road. Some people don't have the brains they were born with.
