It'll just be as dusty, only on top of your newly painted floor. I did it and wouldn't do it again. Shoot the horses, clean the air.
Long day, up to Southport to see my parents ,it's there seventieth wedding anniversary, back home and called into one of my local village pubs the Cock and Pullet for something to eat, always good value. Steve
A large plate of Place and chips with trimmings for the good lady and gammon egg and chips for me accompanied by two pints of cider, the wife was driving, food was £17 for both. Steve
I’ve been on the DOC Northern Rally ride out with @bettes and @Paul_748 and a bunch of lovely northern ducatisti. Think I’ve done about 370 miles and this was the approx route for the day.....
Firstly I apologise if this post is a little incomprehensible, I have just enjoyed sharing a 5 litre cask of Hobgoblin Gold and a BBQ with Carole. We went to Moto Rapido this afternoon to test ride an 800 Scrambler for Carole and a V4S for me. Carole’s impression of the Scrambler was that it is a hoot. Great fun at legal speeds and it looks like the ideal bike for her to do her IAM Observing on. My impression of the V4S is superlatives interspersed with expletives. As I was accompanying Carole, I had made a firm decision to stick with Street mode and OMG, even in slug mode, the bike was a revelation. I’ve never ridden a bike with a quick shifter, let alone a blipper but it seemed intuative when to use it and when to use the clutch. It is without doubt a licence loser because the revs are addictive and you fly incredibly quickly. I can see why @Mary Hinge is considering selling his 1098R, the V4 motor is astonishing although I was disappointed not to have had the time (or knowledge) to set up the chassis. The suspension was far to stiff for me and I felt that my 1098R had the edge on handling although I’m sure given time, the package will be amazing. It’s been a great day and I’m looking forward to Breakfast Club at Goodwood in the morning, if a trifle hung over. Andy
went to BSB qualifying at Thruxton - lots of photos to process but here are a couple (the sidecar passenger was fine). Cheers Neil
Got bored today, so I went on loads of porn sites leaving comments after each clip saying "Your father and I are heartbroken over you doing this - please come home and we'll ignore all the neighbours"
Decided in the cool evening air to go for a ride but stopped off at the local on the edge of town subway. Sitting at the last table empty, a young couple come in with a baby asleep in a push chair. It's a cool evening so I offer my table to them, go outside and put the lid on the handlebars and then sit against the outside wall of a subway near the car park. Put my neck tube on the floor and start to listen to some music and some hipster yuppie thinks I am a tramp and throws a couple of quid in the neck tube Sometimes what you think you look like, isn't how others see you
Took the dogs for a walk in the local country park it as still dark when we got there dogs had a good run stopped for breakfast on the way home great start to the day it went down hill after that I had to take the wife shopping
I bet. I was hoping you had taken the Scrambler so I could quiz you on how it was over that sort of mileage in a day.
If the weather is good next weekend I’ll be able to answer that question because I’ll be taking it up to Scotland.
