If anyone is going over to the Classic TT do come over and say hi, I will be riding at Jurby on the Sunday and taking part in the Classic Racer "Lap of Honour" on the Monday afternoon with my "Monster TT Special" with the race #43. As usual I will be "all alone" for a week in the Island, so just look out for the Old Bald bloke with the Grey Beard a Ducati Shirt and a pint of Peroni !!!
Cheers, it will be nice to meet you, I will be in the paddock all day Friday for Signing on, Scruiteneers etc, then Jurby etc. FJ 43
The "Monster TT Special" gave me a great ride in the Classic TT Parade Lap yesterday. I have just uploaded the first 15 minuets of the Lap on to You-tube, in low definition from my phone. Check out Frank Jones Classic Racing. Look out for me passing the Hailwood Rep at Glen Helen, anyone we know ?. More to follow when I get home and use my PC to upload.
Just got back today from a great long weekend over at the classic tt. Even though Sunday was a wash out and Monday was delayed i still loved it. Here's some pics... Anstey doing a demo lap . Mcguiness on the hailwood duke... hailwood ducati...
Steve, thanks for the steer on this show,,great to see John win again on that fab looking/noise Paton machine
I now have the Parade Lap in 2 parts on You tube, Pt2 is a really good run over the Mountain where despite a few damp patches I only get passed by an XR Suzuki. Not bad for a very budget bike, look up Frank Jones Racing.
Didn't make it to say hello Frank.... Didn't get to pits until Sunday due to late delayed ferries and Sunday was shit day for ride up to jerby.... Tuesday was racing and Wednesday morning home
No problem, all credit to the organisers it was change after change to fit things in all the way from Friday. Sunday at Jurby I did not take the bike out of the van due in o the rain. Then Monday the Parade time changed 3 times and we eventually got away first on damp roads, but I had a really good Lap, the bike ran really well.
