Another couple of hundred miles of hoonery around the back roads of Nothumberland, Durham and Cumbria on the Hyperdoodah.
We’ve been to the SEC in Glasgow to watch the European gymnastics championships (men’s team final). We really enjoyed it. And Team GB got silver. On the way back to Helensburgh I went to the loo at Partick station, and left my Oakley sunglasses in there. Bugger. :/
Got home at teatime and the first thing the wife says to me is - "God my hands are sore from holding that broom" "You should take the car" I told her.
Leisurely start to the day. Just had breakfast and I’m going to jump in the shower. SWMBO, brother and sister in law are off to Campbelltown later, then they’re off to Arran tomorrow and then Edinburgh on Tuesday and Wednesday. I, on the other hand, will be staying with #1 son tonight then heading home tomorrow via Edinburgh where I’ve got a meeting at 10am.
It’s muggy humid here today I’m not doing much this bloody Zometa infusion has knocked me about this time My body doesn’t feel like mine I’m not going to do much today
Had the Hyper out for the first time in about three months. Thought that it had cooled down enough to start riding again... Wrong. 36 degrees out, 25 minute run into town, filled up the bike, stopped to get some salmon, some fillet and some lamb and then back home again. Got home and everything was dripping wet, even my gloves were soaked through. The summer mesh textiles don't help much, it's just no fun. Will just have to wait until it cools down a bit more. Maybe next month...
Out for a crutch-supported hobble about Gloucester quays yesterday, and trend Mrs B to a nice late tapas lunch at Portivo lounge. Then not a lot all night...searching eBay. Today, fed the birds, watching MGP with the sound of motox a few miles away ringing in the garden. Searching eBay. Yawn.
My Grandad told me today, that last week he started to use Viagra for the first time. Apparently, Grandma has taken it pretty hard...
