  2. Nice to see him get in the fight.

Ducati heads should roll frankly, if they didn't listen to him, or didn't work out he needed better positioning on the bike months and months ago then they shouldn't be in the top race team.

It's their job to get the best out of the investment, that's the rider, and it's their fault he's leaving

  3. Brilliant race, I wonder if Marquez was thinking he may have been penalised by race direction for a second block pass on Lorenzo. Very unlike him to yield in that situation.

  4. I wondered the same. He had pushed off both Dovi and Jlo there, either that or he would have run into the side of him so caused a penalty too.

I think the commentator intimating he let him have it was a stretch

  5. Nah mate, the TV director has pissed me off for a long time, the bloke's incompetent. Crafar just has one of those lifeless voices and seems to be incapable of articulating a constructed sentence. The riders for whom English is a second and sometimes third language are better. Estrella today but in moderation. Andy

  6. Great last couple of laps, exciting stuff! Nice to see JL tussling again. Those Ducati engines are incredible :upyeah: I think I'll get one... oh hang on, I have!

    Kind of

  7. One thing is for sure, a Marquez who thinks championship as opposed to win at all costs is going to be almost impossible to beat. I really think that the only one in with a chance is Lorenzo but not on a Honda.

  8. I think there are a few riders with the skills ( or potential ) to upset mm .. but also not on the right kit.. i think mm though, is here for the long haul and a few upsets along the way won't stop his rise and rise..

  10. Great race. Interesting how it varied.
At one stage it looked like Marquez was running away with it and Lorenzo looked like the rolling road block again. Then Dovi faded away as they caught Marquez.

Got to hand it to Lorenzo though, he fought and tussled with Marquez and looked like a real force to be reckoned with. By comparison he put Dovi in the shade, Lorenzo obviously got the right tyre choice.
There's a lot of races left but on current form I think Lorenzo could take runner up spot. If only he'd hit form a week or two earlier in the season.

As for next season, Petruci as a viable replacement for JLo? It's not going to happen is it, as much as I like the guy? Ducati management have got to be wondering why they didn't sort things on the bike with Lorenzo earlier.

Not sure about Honda stealing Lorenzo as he himself said in an interview that he approached Honda.

  11. Those Ducati's are bloody fast. You can see during the race they've got the Honda well and truly aced. If it wasn't for Marquez spicing things up with his ability, JL and AD would be romping away every race. I mean- where's Pedrosa every race? The other Honda. Miles back.

  12. Early retirement:D

  13. I know. But he still couldn't get anywhere near Marquez when he was trying. Unless Marquez lost grip with his tyres going off.

  14. Another super race, Crutchlow did well. As usual, when he stays on!
JLo. Got to concrde he has talent in abundace. Found a lot of respect for him after seeing he realy can battle with the best out there. Starting to warm to him tbh, not just a one trick pony after all. Need to see him win in the wet now....
Yamaha. What is going on this year. Realy seem outclassed by Ducati and Honda. Wonder how Rossi would do on this years Duke?

  15. It’s wortj watching the post race program. First time I have, but they interviewed top 4 plus some others.

Dovi said he thought race would have been different if he could have got past Jlo. He used too much rear tyre trying to get past, so at the end he didn’t have the grip. He looked a combination of peed off and deflated.

    Crashlow was almost positive...

  16. what a race it was, i just wish i'd used more sunscreen, couldn't sleep at all last night

  17. I must be missing something here ?? Just up off nights, so watched it in between morning and afternoon naps, and thought it was fecking dull !! Last few laps were ok but the rest was a diabolical bore to my eyes. I suspect MM has something to do with it, as I just can't get past the fact he's a cheating cnut, who's about as false as anyone I've ever seen on the telly. I can't even bring my self to watch any of his interviews, cause he's a hateful fucking cheat. The whole sport bar a a few races each year has become a little boring imo. I don't think that track helps tbh, as it's a bit tedious for the viewer.

  20. I agree with you but the start was good with the full pack fighting for track position and the last bit 9/10 laps) was great, that's what i meant post #29.
as for the interviews/stop watching since 2015!
