Too Scared To Buy A Ducati.

  1. True fella, true.

  2. I’ve just bought a tuono, it’s fecking hoot, not too tall at all .

  3. Try a Diavel, you may be surprised by the riding position and the performance. Great bike, but I am biased.

  4. Its a lot more relaxed than the Pani, i can do about a hour and a half before needing a break, so about the same as my multi for time in the saddle. But the standard spec is excellent with, up down blipper, electronic suspension, launch control, heated grips, cruise control, cornering abs ect ect, good value for money at a little over 11k new. The 2017 on has the revised chassis(same as the rr) and a slightly more powerful engine and some rubber thrown in to eliminate bar vibes ( no problem at all with vibes for me) all in all a very tempting package.

When I sat on my mates, it’s way taller than the multi. Way way taller.

  8. Needs considerable work to get it to handle and work well. As demonstrated by the amount of cash you’ve spent :p

  9. I fancy the tuono v4 factory but one of my bikes would have to go first and it certainly wont be my streetfighter, Absolutely luv it, 888 would go first but dowt its going to be any time soon

  10. I have the Comfort seat on mine, it is like a pile cushion it's so comfy. It had less than 4k miles on it, for £8k ish. It was pretty well specced but there were plenty for £6k ish at the time.

  12. Nope...just a rear shock if you want to get down to nitty gritty...you want it all. You want performance but you want it to last forever...

  13. Plus bradders...it's short...like you :)

  14. I can understand why everyone hates them...they never had good reviews. Bottom of the knob length o meter too.

  15. And shonky to boot :D (YES !! Knew I could squeeze a shonky in somewhere tonight)

And... Not sure if it's true, but I heard all Zed riders take holidays in San Francisco, Mykonos or Brighton ??

  17. At the end of the day as much as they're not liked they tick most of the boxes...

    1 Long valve clearance time ( 23k )
2 cheap performance parts and lots of them
    3 gloriously analog
    4 Easy to service
5 Once flashed makes nigh on the s1000r's output.
6 Cheap to buy second hand.

My mate has had the engine out of his, flipped upside down, sump off, bottom of the engine off, switched out the gearbox, back together, mechanically minded but no previous experience. That's the kind of simplicity i like plus he retro fitted the slipper clutch from the newer model.

180 for the slipper clutch....that wouldn't even get you the box to put the slipper clutch into on here!

  18. I loved my quickshift on my 848. The way it popped back through the exhaust gave me a tifler.
Wasn’t the evo 848 a little more sorted than the first gen like I’ve got?
