No way I can get fit enough to ride (or fit my leathers!) by then. Looks like another 2 months of little activity before I can start even walking any distance again never mind gym and treadmill, which is what I need. I can be a little ‘hard to handle’ when really pissed off: if I can’t keep up with my mates (or leave them behind like I used to!) I get really pissed off...so just wouldn’t enjoy it. So cut loses on deposit paid.

Just got back from the Day of Champions at Silverstone. Cracking day starting with a 200 motorcycle ride in to the circuit via the Super Sausage and 2 laps of the GP circuit. Had a stroll through the paddock and watched the auction for a while before heading for home. Rest day tomorrow then back to the circuit for the weekend and celebrating Carole's birthday at the same time. Andy
