Really, I assumed they were the same other than the dash and a few lecky gadgets, cruise control etc. Difference in engine characteristics then?
2017 was lighter, had top end rework, better electronics, new Ohlins and TFT. They are going for 16k new at the moment!
I bought my 17 plate new for £14.25. Pre ref. You’ll get the 18s for same money now I bet...although they don’t have the green paint on seat cowl which I think looks better than the black on ‘18 Model. Wonder if ‘19 will be a new bike?
14k for an RSV4 RF? That must have been a desperate dealer or you’ve a very good negotiator New bike should be announced at EICMA. I guess a new Tuono will be 2020.
1100cc to keep up with Pani power plus a bodywork and chassis update... Seriously, you got a new RF for 14k, I need to play hard ball better, it’s a 20k bike list price!!
I’m talking about the Tuono not the RSV. Lists at £16k but I went for a pre-reg, albeit only 6 weeks “old”.

14,999 a shade over 14, that is pure man math I was talking about he RSV4 at 16k being a good deal. I’ve seen the Tuono is wildly available at 14999 - still, a good deal for an amazing bike.

I think On Yer Bike in Aylesbury are doing brand new Tuono's for £13999! My bro recently picked one up and if I recall correctly that's what he said they were. Hell of a bike for that money.
Yeap, it’s like those mugs and tshirts you see, “My Biggest Fear is my wife sells my bike for what I told her it was Worth!”
So then OP, you actually decided to buy anything or is this just another mahoosive Bradders tyre kicking exercise ??
Well, as the NEED for a bike has gone now I’ve cancelled the trip, probably more pub chat than buying chat. And I can’t test anything. Although when I can ride again I am going to try the s1000r, and with Sept approaching new bike deals kick off so chop the multi in if I like it.
