Yes love the black, I put a black stripe over my S wheels red stripe and prefer the plain look.
But I’m getting a bit of a stiffy over the OZ BSB wheels I’ll put on after I get back from Germany. So cool.

  6. Wow the OZ’s look awesome need to see some pics once you get them fitted :)

Also good shout with the black wheel tape :upyeah: think I’ll give that a try.

  9. Mine with a virgin Akra before she got a bit blue! Not an R but an S. Found some cheap genuine R stuff so keeping the originals mint.. All red was a bit plain anyway.. Love the PRAMAC version top yoke.

  10. The bike..

At this point I hadn't used it apart from riding home after purchase then spend a few months modding it... Before I get any "well abused tyres" wise cracks

  11. Lovely.

Don’t know how you can not ride the thing though!

  12. Thanks, I am using it nowadays. Was out on it yesterday. The pictures was a little while back... Used to ride litre bikes (and 250 2-strokes) 20 odd years ago like a loon. This thing is just stupid for the road. Well UK roads anyway. And it's too loud for the track (UK) ffs. Pretty much impossible to fully enjoy

  15. That’ll explain it :upyeah::upyeah::upyeah: Bike looks amazing.
Did you find wrapping the rear header pipe made any difference with containing the heat from roasting your arse?:eek::eek:

  16. To be honest, I hadn't ridden the bike much (at all!) before wrapping the pipe, so I'm not sure what difference it made, and it was done mainly to try to protect the carbon shield more than anything. The shield is generally fine apart from the mounting points where it has browned a bit, but I don't mind that. The bike generally is horrifically hot to ride at anything less than 80mph. I have some carbon top-cylinder casings to fit which might help (although I doubt it) and I will add some thin heat-proofing to the bottom of the seat. Generally though, the bike will be used on track and for fast weekend trips to France, so I can live with and discount the heat as a classic Ducati foible...

  17. I have the top cylinder covers to go on as well but I don’t imagine that they’ll make much of a difference.
The heat is only an issue for me if I get stuck in traffic or if the pace is to slow. Loving the bike though, just need more time to get out some good runs. :D

  18. my new ride :))
