Any sports professional, which he is, should remain so especially during the actual activity. IMO. I'm with Brettski: tough to not like the guy, he has had some shitty luck (although M2 he did throw away...) and comes across exactly like your cool, fast mate who seems to do anything he likes, and has a bit of arrogance about it that is just the right side of acceptable cocky. I'd love to share a beer or two with him: cant say the same for most MGP riders Still think WSBK
My vote is Moto 2. The silly season is only just starting there, and there could be some rides going: seem to be lots of team and team management consolidation going on in Moto 2 however. Redding has done well there, and as it is a new formula effectively with the triple engines for next season, it may be a more level playing field (and the extra power / torque might help Redding more against the pint sized europeans). He is fast - and look where he was in the wet at Spielberg.

WSBK is very competitive and if he gets a B-ride, it means he'd be battling for 12th place every weekend, which is no fun for anybody. "Whereas Moto2 is such a level playing field, especially next year with the change to Triumph, he wouldn't be at a disadvantage at all. "It's what I'd be doing if I were him, but I don't know what his plans are." Makes sense to me, poll edited to include Moto 2 option and extended end date.

Well mid season - both standing a good chance of winning championships- sort of understand Scott I guess
If he bags the current championship all well & good as i thought he was down & out see post #7 ,but i've to take my hat off to him and this would make sense as the clocks ticking.His sporting legacy could be known as a all rounder when he departs the sport.
