Bought Myself A New Watch - My 1st Tag

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Robarano, Jun 16, 2018.

  1. Although Omega is my favorite quality brand of watch, Seiko (not Grand Seiko) is my most worn. These are followed by a Hamilton Frogman Limited and an Alpina Seastrong 300. All are affordable, but different, for everyday wear. Getting back to Seiko - Personally, I think they are very under valued.

My tastes have also changed from always go for a Chronograph to Divers and Dress watches only.

I do have a couple of Casio plastic digitals for when I am tinkering with something.

  3. Seiko make some great watches. My Solar Diver never skips a beat, doesn't require expensive maintanance or batteries, and is tough as old boots. It still looks like new after a very hard life. I think thy cost £250 these days. Totally reccomended.

I still have my Omega Manhatten, but rarely wear it these days.

  4. I had recently a Seiko powered divers watch called a Helm Vanuatu. Cracking watch and great customer service / support http://helmwatches.com/vanuatu.html

  8. Another Friday.
Much magnificent marvelling for the mighty Magrette? Comes from an unusual country -not renowned for watch making.

  13. Agree, those paykel fisher boys know a thing or two when it comes to dishwashers.

  14. Not just dishwashers from F&P, full range of household appliances, but more impressively is their range of medical equip. and devices.

  15. We've had a F/P draw type dishwasher for 10 faultless years. Will be looking for the same again when we move house.
Haven't any need for medical equipment... as yet.
