  3. Riders decision - that’s pissed me off only Miller and Zarco wanted to race ?

  7. I want a refund. I don’t blame the riders though, the track was not safe for 200mph race bikes.

Silverstone were told at the start of the summer that the resurfacing job was not up to scratch.

  8. what a waste of a day!

  9. It's disgraceful from the riders, absolutely disgraceful.

Listening to that at the end there's no longer standing water and it ended up they simply didn't want to race.

I appreciate the safety aspect from the earlier conditions but if you start shirking off from a wet weather race with just not great conditions where does it stop?

  11. I absolutely gaurantee they'll be lots of arse covering and finger pointing on social media.

Sounds like Miller, Zarco and Redding were the only ones saying to race.

Herve wanted to race, just sounds like the 'top riders' didn't want to anymore even though it was in the end a wet track

  12. John Lydon once said at the end of a gig on stage and i quote;"ever thought you have been cheated".

  13. Well, that was a waste of a day.

The decision should have been taken by Dorna and not the millionaire riders. If it's genuinely unsafe, then cancel, no question. But it looked like no more than a wet race at the point it was cancelled.

I feel sorry for the thousands that sat in that all day to see their heroes, only to be let down by them.

  14. At least I can blame the crap track now for me coming off in April. Thought it was a bit bumpy :D

  15. SCL no refunds on tickets if beyond their control - wasn’t weather was due to riders. I suppose that’s beyond control - and moto2 & 3 ? Bet they would have raced but not asked -
Three friends £95:00 each this morning and now refused a refund when cancelled. Unless they massively reduce next years tickets if you hold a 2018 or do something there will be no one there.

    Shite

  16. I blame the riders......somewhere in those conditions was a bike set up including power output, and a threshold for level of grip..if you exceed the grip level, whenever and wherever whatever the weather conditions, and crash, so be it on your head.

  17. I got bored of watching the drivel. I assume it’s not been postponed until tomorrow?

  18. Kudos to the BT Sport team though for managing to keep going with no racing to report; they earned their crust today.

  19. if i had a championship lead of nearly three races i would want it cancelled ..one less race to lose points at..

  20. Watching Dorna press conference now and seems Dorna asked Silverstone to short out some problems but it was to big a problem to sort out in time so if correct then Silverstone i would like a refund or you won't see me next year.
