  1. Gold all the way Ben. Its only a matter of time before my Tard gets either a pair of Marchesini M10's in gold or the original chicken feet wheels get painted....
The shade of gold is the tough choice, they always look different depending on the light conditions.
Champagne gold or similar shade to the Anniversario wheels would look stunning :upyeah:

  2. As they are the most ugliest wheels ever fitted by Ducati, I would go for a look that hides them completely, rather than highlights the bastid things.

  3. FWIW (not much probably) I'll go with the minority and say black. Gold doesn't really go with anything on the bike (well, maybe with the gold on the Ohlins and - if your bike has it - the top half of the clutch cover). There's plenty of black on the bike. Also, as someone pointed out, they're maybe not the most attractive design of wheel, so why highlight it? Perhaps as @Exige suggested, get another set of wheels and experiment with different colours - that way you'd still have the right ones to change back to...

  4. The only gold wheels I like are on the 1299 Anni.
That colour is difficult to match and I’ve seen some lame attempts.

So I’m afraid to say black it is, and without the red stripe just like the R.

  5. 100% Gold.... but not Dark Gold....

  6. This gold works best imo IMG_8552.JPG

  7. I think I would stick with the black as I also had the same dilemma with my 1199s.

I decided to plasti dip spray paint them myself to see if I liked them gold. I did like the gold but I ended up peeling it off and going back to the black.

    Here’s with the gold

    Then back to black

I would stick with the black.

  11. Gold OZ on mine here.
Far too bright for my liking, would prefer a duller gold. IMG_20180828_092044_964.jpg

  12. I like that dull almost dirty gold if such a thing myself. Is the color on the superleggera wheels the same as the other mag parts on the pani? Thats the color i really want but couldnt find anything as far as paint code or anything. My apologies didnt meant to get off the subject.Tricolor looks great with with both colors especially in person.
