I told my boss this morning - “I won’t be in today, I’ve been told I gotta take it easy” “Did a Doctor tell you that?”, he asked. “No.... The Eagles”.......
Wouldn't be surprised if you saw a few of them jack-ups coming out of being stacked now the industry is coming back and companies starting to invest again... We've got one here at present drilling us 9 new wells, another recently signed for another to complete 13 wells for another platform within our company & uk waters and that's without even touching the 3 new exploration blocks that the company were successful in securing during the 30th licensing round last year!
I went back to work (yesterday actually) after almost a month off and started demolishing a 1970's town house we have under development. Pure concrete and only about another 200sqm to go, deep joy!
There are six of them parked up here at Cromarty so that sounds about right. I don’t know much about them but there did seem to be quite a bit of activity around the platforms.
At riders getting z1000 MOTD...weird cos I turned up with the hyper and that failed on the spot....didn't notice the fork seal had gone...he had a cancellation so nipped home to get the zed. Just to note chatting with the mot guy he said a standard plate has to have all that small writing at the bottom now....mine didn't.. anyway...nice view here... Whose ever it is...lovely bike..
you can sacrifice a lot chasing your dreams - not every player ends up a millionaire and many get discarded. Providing an education along side good quality coaching is something I would support - I wish it was available when i was playing. I've been out of the industry for a while: this mentions 1 of my former players: https://www.independent.ie/sport/ch...n-quickly-turn-into-a-nightmare-36485305.html
Good spot! Today I took my Pani in for its MOT and................it passed! No leaks. Happy days. Told the guy I'd see him again in a year.
Finished laying the floor I started a couple of weeks ago, been waiting for the plumber to finish his work, studding now fitted to create a main bathroom and a bedroom with on suit. Steve
The wife and I were in the queue at Manchester airport today, waiting to check-in . She turned to me and said “We should have brought the telly”. “What are you talking about?” I asked. “The flight tickets were on top of it”.
