  10. That reminded me he came to look at my dads house when it was for sale back in the 90’s - dad didn’t recognise him but Mum did

When he left dad said ‘drive safely’ :)

  13. I went to the same school as Emlyn Hughes’ daughter.

I saw Charlie Brooks (Janine Butcher in Eastenders) in the Co-op in Barmouth, Wales a few weeks ago.

A friend of a friend played bass on Freddie Mercury’s Mr Bad Guy album.

I was given a prize in a fancy dress competition by Ronnie Barker when I was about 5.

A family friend was a photographer and in the 1960s he photographed all of the up and coming music acts like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Buddy Holly, etc. By the 1970s he was doing catalogue photography and magazine adverts. My brother and I appeared in a handful of those photographs.

My ex guitar teacher played guitar for Max Bygraves, for one gig.

My friend was Jean Paul Getty’s bodyguard in the 1970s.

  18. I have played on the same stage as Jimi Hendrix. Worthing Pavillion. About 35 years apart. I was in an act taking part in a talent show. We only did it because our drummer worked at the Pavillion and they needed acts for the show.

  19. One of my relatives was the pilot on the titanic out of Southampton, i think its 3 or 4 great's grandfather. Gave directions to Richard Branson how to get to east street in Chichester. Two years below Colin Gibson Man U fullback use to play against him as kids. My old man was friends with Gary Glitter when he was famous for the right reasons, he use to live in the next village, he bought me a pint in the local and re broke my hand when i shook hands with him after i had broke it, also gave me a lift home in his roll's once a few month's later, (no he didn't try anything). Bumped in to Neal Tuxworth when he was staying in Midhurst for the Goodwood revival or festival of speed a few years back. Quite a few famous people live around this area, personally don't take a lot of notice myself
