What Tenuous Link Do You Have To A Famous Name Real Person Or Not...?

  1. I tripped up Joe Brown in Oxford Street in the late 60s.

    I also have an ancestor who is a famous British Navy admiral - he was known as Black Dick (even though he was a white man - TFFT! Otherwise I might have a problem to explain, occasionally).

  5. I used to live next door to a bloke called Geoff Chandler years ago, he was a works Montesa trials rider. He sometimes used to take me with him when he went practicing, I had an old 197cc Villiers which I did a few events on. One particular day we were going practicing, he loaded up his bike along with his spare works bike and told me I was riding that for the day. I was in 16 year old heaven!

  7. Had dinner at Gatcombe Park with Princess Ann and commodore Lawrence, I sat next to him and what a thoutoughly nice bloke
    Met Gary Neville On Wednesday along with Raymond Blanc and my brother went to school with Robbie Williams :)
     
  8. I stepped out of the Ray ban store in Carnaby street this week and if i was 2 seconds latter i would have stepped on Davina McCall (She looked nice with not much make up on)

    Decorated Neil Ruddock's house and also spent 5 weeks decorating Linford christie's house and had his gold medal around my neck,
    Thread closed :p (nice bloke)

    Spent 2 years decorating around Mayfair and Curzon street and used to say morning most days to Sir Stirling moss until he fell down his lift shaft.

  14. I grew up next door to a girl who was right into horses and shit, won a Scholarship to work in the Queens Stables over in that there England, came back early and very quietly, with all sorts of rumours about being caught "in the act" with Captain Phillips in the stables.

  20. I skimmed several ashtrays at Alvin Stardust when he played Baileys nightclub in Leicester. Most of the audience did the same - he was that bad.
